I don’t know about you, but in my life, some of the things that I have experienced I did not know or realize that information was available either in a book I had at home, at the library or by talking to a trusted advisor or consulting wise counsel.

But now, there is really no excuse for not knowing something, because you can immediately access information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a few keystrokes.

Because in today’s times, it’s very important to always be learning something new and keeping up with what is going on around you and everywhere else, too.

Being able to access information is very powerful and can save you a lot of money, time, and even from getting heartaches and migraines.

I love living in these times right now because the information is widely available and accessible in a few seconds because we all know that “knowledge is power”.

Here are some quotes from people talking about this very topic.

-“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.”  –Kofi Annan

-“I feel like knowledge is power: If you know how to take care of yourself, you can be a better version of yourself.” –Miranda Kerr

-I wish I had known that education is the key. That knowledge is power. Now I pick up books and watch educational shows with my husband. I’m seeing how knowledge can elevate you.   –Mary J. Blige

-“We give you the facts. I told you information is power – knowledge is power. We can’t be in an ideological battle to redeem the soul of this country if we don’t have the facts.  –Tavis Smiley

-“I think in the NFL knowledge is power, and you try to get the knowledge by whatever means.”  –Steve Sabol

A Forbes article dated 12/21/18 entitled “Yes, Knowledge is Power, but not in the way you think” stated some interesting things:

“Connect the dots. By doing this, it helps people see the big picture of how any one piece of information relates to a certain issue or problem”.

“Be immediate. Knowledge is only useful when it is timely. Make sharing a priority and share immediately, even if that means the messages are less filtered and less perfect. With more immediacy, people can take action and make decisions relevant to all that is going on in the moment.”

“Trust, share, curate, connect the dots, be immediate and engage to inspire and encourage positive motion. Don’t hoard knowledge, rather embrace transparency. From this effort will come power and the knowledge that can inspire positive change.”
